Ne, the “black sheep” of a famous movie star’s 23 children, grew up in the shadow of neglect. Estranged from his own son for five years, he believed he was a man incapable of affection. During a three-hour FB-PT session, the dam burst with floods of tears pouring out. He encountered Jesus in his earliest wounds. Days later, he asked his son for forgiveness. For the first time, his son ran to him and kissed him. This healing rippled upward, leading Ne to eventually hug and reconcile with his own father, breaking a three-generation cycle of shame. As a field leader, we attend many trainings, but very few minister to us like FB Restoration Retreat, where we are asked to “just receive” rather than learn teaching material to give to others. For years before experiencing: I do not believe that people need anything outside reading the Bible for themselves. As new creation in Christ, everything becomes new. We do not need psychology kind of stuff. I don’t see that in the Bible. In 2023, After Receiving: I didn’t know Jesus could be so real and speak clearly.. He took me back to that painful time when the most horrible thing happened to me and my mom. He showed me so many things I didn’t know. I thought I was all alone when I was abandoned … in front of my eyes, I saw my family suffering because of that abandonment, and losing all hope of living. I was so young. But HE WAS THERE! Then after we stopped praying, Jesus kept speaking to me so deeply the next few days. I want everyone in my house church network to receive. This is so simple. I met Isa (Jesus) when I was at the lowest point of my life. My employer asked me to bring my pain and suicidal thoughts to Isa. At that time, I was still a radical follower of my former faith. But I saw Isa was always there. He helped me. He healed me. I stopped being suicidal. I received healing ministry a few times, and that was what made me start reading the Bible. Eventually I became a believer. So many people, both saved and unsaved, need Jesus to heal them. We really really need this ministry for field workers. They are all very tired.
